June Update - Total presented to Magpas £1100

2nd Ashley Martin Memorial Rideout 9th May 2010

It was 7am on Sunday Morning, I looked out of the window and expected
to see a rain soaked road outside, a bit like the day before !
But no, there was no rain.... just a grey sky ! so i thought i'd go for
my wet set of gear rather than my vented two piece leathers.
I got down to Wheelfit to start setting up the PA system and
tea & coffee table, I wasn't expecting a massive turn out due
to the weather, but I was wrong.... over 100 bikes turned up,
along with some Police Riders from BikeSafe.
Bikers were happy milling about, exchanging stories.

The Police said they would look after the convoy up to Kings Lynn, keep us all
together by holding the traffic at each roundabout - it worked like a charm
and must have looked so impressive coming down the road.

The sun started to poke its head out, things were looking up.
The convoy made it to Hunstanton, incident free.
